Chapel of the Holy Cross. An understudy of Frank Lloyd Wright designed this church. I know that this is not Pacific Northwest but I sure like this photograph.

Claimed to be the longest beach in the world, Long Beach is a great place to ride horse, fly a kite or walk on the boardwalk.

Blue Angels at Seafair

I know a great place to watch the airshow. The Blue Angels fly right overhead. Next year I will bring an audio recorder.

Northern Exposure

The television series Northern Exposure was filmed in part in Roslyn, WA (Cicely, AK). This is Dr Joel Fleishmann's cabin. It was located some miles away from Roslyn on the Circle 8 Square Dance Ranch. The cabin fell down during a winter storm. It was only a set. Notice there is no chimney.

Evergreen State Fair

The fair in Monroe Washington is a real country fair. 4H and FFA kids show their prize animals. I like the All Alaskan Racing Pigs .

Kirkland Parks

Kirkland used to be a great to see and be seen. The recent flood of condominium construction has spoiled the small quality neighborhood feel.

Pacific Science Center
